Follow the contact instructions set out in your discharge information, for example if you have a fever, increasing redness or problems with your wound. Seek immediate medical assistance if you experience sudden shortness of breath or severe acute symptoms. Do not wait until your next physiotherapy appointment to have any new problems assessed following an operation.
