Recovery from COVID-19 varies from person to person. Many people recover quickly, but fatigue, shortness of breath or other symptoms may persist for longer. A test result does not indicate whether you have made a full recovery.
Discuss any persistent symptoms that are affecting your daily life with your GP. Call your GP or the GP out-of-hours service straight away if your condition is getting worse quickly, if you’re having difficulty breathing or are breathing rapidly, or if you’re confused.
