About Suze
My name is Suze Stumpel and in February 2022 I graduated from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, where I completed the Physiotherapy course. The choice for this study came from my great interest in the musculoskeletal system and my passion for sports. In addition, I have always enjoyed working with people and find it important to contribute to their health and well-being.
In May 2022, I started working at FRISKFYSIO, where I have enjoyed working as a physiotherapist ever since. Here I get the space to further develop my knowledge and skills and apply them daily in practice. During my internships and work experience, I have gained valuable insights into the profession, especially in the field of orthopaedic complaints and counselling elderly people with various syndromes and health problems.
In my work, I find it essential to get a complete and careful picture of the patient. For me, a good treatment relationship starts with attentive listening to the story behind the complaint. This is the only way I can reach an appropriate and effective treatment together with the patient. During my internships, my work in home care and my current work at FRISKFYSIO, I have had many valuable conversations. These have shaped me not only as a therapist, but also as a person. Empathy, patience and respect are central to the care process for me.
My ambition is to further specialise and continuously develop my knowledge and skills. That way, I can provide the best possible care and make a valuable contribution to the well-being of my patients.
