An irritated Achilles tendon often hurts. Irritation may be the result of overuse, injury or surgery. However, Haglund's syndrome can also cause symptoms. The AchilloTrain Achilles tendon brace offers relief. It is made of breathable, skin-friendly and highly elastic Train knit fabric. This adapts completely to the shape of your foot and follows every movement without shifting.
The edges of the AchilloTrain are soft and elastic, so they do not cut into the skin. Thus, the bandage fits comfortably everywhere. At foot level, the AchilloTrain is extra short to prevent pressure on the fifth metatarsal. The knitted fabric is so thin that you can easily wear the support under a stocking and in a comfortable shoe. The cutouts at the top of the pad make it easier to put on and take off.
The pad with a meandering shape and massage nubs surrounds the Achilles tendon and extends to the muscle-tendon junction. When moved, it offers a gentle massage with varying pressure together with the knitted fabric. This improves the local metabolism and stimulates the muscles.
