About Ilse
My name is Ilse Riebandt and I am 21 years old. I grew up in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel and currently live in Amsterdam. At the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, I am studying Physiotherapy and am in my third year.
Alongside my studies, I follow the Honours Medicine UMC Subsidiary Programme, a collaboration between the HvA and the UvA, in which I take first-year subjects from the Bachelor of Medicine.
Sport plays an important role in my life. From a young age, I have been active in various sports. Currently, I mainly focus on water polo, tennis, running and cycling. Sport not only helps me stay physically fit, but also mentally balanced. It gives me energy and focus.
During the winter holidays, I work in Germany as a ski instructor. Here I enjoy teaching children of different levels. The learning process they go through and their enthusiasm continue to inspire me.
For the next few weeks, I will be doing an internship at FRISKFYSIO. I am looking forward to developing further as a physiotherapist, deepening my knowledge and helping clients achieve their goals. My ambition is to inspire people to move more, prevent complaints and encourage sustainable recovery.
