The bandage surrounds the upper and lower arm. Two anatomically shaped functional elements, called pelots, protect the inside and outside of the elbow from pressure points. When the arm moves, the pelots, together with the knitted fabric of the bandage, massage the connective tissue and muscles. This stimulates circulation and metabolism. It also has a positive effect on sensorimotor function: the stabilising muscles are controlled faster and thus joint coordination is improved for a long time. In this way, strain and risk of injury are effectively counteracted. Irritations and pain caused by overloading decrease faster, thus avoiding harmful pain-avoiding postures.
