About Erwin<\/strong>
\nMy name is Erwin Meijerink and I work as a physiotherapist at FRISKFYSIO Paramedical Centre in Amstelveen. I am also following the Master Psychosomatic Physiotherapy to deepen my knowledge and guide my clients even better.<\/p>\n

Before entering physiotherapy, I gained experience in both education and hospitality. These worlds taught me a lot about people, communication and cooperation - skills that I now use daily in my work as a physiotherapist.<\/p>\n

Within FRISKFYSIO, I combine various specialisations to offer targeted and comprehensive treatment. With ultrasound, I can accurately visualise complaints and create tailor-made treatment plans. With shockwave therapy, I support the recovery of tendon and muscle problems, among others. In addition, as a Senior Physio Fitness Trainer I assist clients in building strength, mobility and fitness. My approach is always personal and goal-oriented, in which I work with the client to find what is needed to recover as well as possible and stay healthy.<\/p>\n

What characterises me is my empathetic and down-to-earth approach. I find it important to look beyond the physical complaint. Sometimes stress, emotions or lifestyle play a role in recovery, and I pay attention to that where necessary. I always try to create a relaxed and open atmosphere, where clients feel heard and trust.<\/p>\n

My goal is to help people recover, but also to support them in improving their overall health and quality of life. I love taking steps together, big or small, and seeing someone regain more control of their body.<\/p>\n

In my spare time, I enjoy playing music, from guitar to piano and drums. I have a sporting background in football, basketball and tennis. Nowadays, I mainly focus on cycling and fitness. This not only helps me stay fit, but also gives me the energy and relaxation I can put to good use in my work.<\/p>\n

At FRISKFYSIO, we work with a holistic view of health: we look beyond just the complaint and seek lasting solutions together with the client. I am proud to contribute to this, with the aim of helping people move more freely, strongly and confidently again.<\/p>\n
