About Daan<\/strong>
\nHi, my name is Daan Verheij and I am 21 years old. I am in my third year of studying physiotherapy at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam.<\/p>\n

Movement has played a central role throughout my life. For instance, I played football at a high level for 12 years and have been fanatically active in the gym for the past four years. I have also been playing indoor football for a year now. Sport gives me energy and has taught me discipline, perseverance and team spirit.<\/p>\n

During my internships at Motion Physiotherapy and Prevention and Salvedo Health Clinic, and through my studies, I gained a lot of practical experience. I learned how to systematically examine complaints, supervise patients and carry out treatments. These experiences have further increased my enthusiasm for the profession.<\/p>\n

My goal as a beginning physiotherapist is to help people optimise their recovery, reduce complaints and prevent injuries. I have a broad interest within the profession and am currently mainly focused on deepening my knowledge and gaining as much practical experience as possible, so that I can support people in achieving their goals to the best of my ability.<\/p>\n

I am looking forward to doing an internship at FRISK on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the next five months. I see this as a great opportunity to develop further and actively contribute to clients' recovery and well-being.<\/p>\n
