Hi! My name is Willemijn and I have been part of the friendly team at FriskFysio since 2023. With my position as medical secretary, you can find me at the practice's reception desk. Here, together with my colleagues, I am responsible for the administrative matters surrounding your treatment. I am happy to welcome you and contribute to a pleasant atmosphere within the practice.

I grew up in Groningen, where I had a great time and enjoyed living. Out of curiosity about 'the big city', I moved to the Baarsjes in Amsterdam in July 2022. I have a lovely front and back garden (which is unique in the heart of Amsterdam) where I love to be busy with my plants. I am currently following the dual variant of the HBO Bachelor of Physical Therapy, with which I want to develop into a fully-fledged physiotherapist. My goal is to soon be able to receive patients in the treatment room instead of at FriskFysio's reception desk.

Besides my work and studies, I can be found on the Xenios hockey field (ladies 6). I also enjoy running a lap through the Rembrandtpark and am regularly upside down at pilates or yoga. On weekends, I like to cook for friends and regularly visit a concert or museum. My family lives in Groningen and my partner in Deventer, which means I'm on the road a lot and don't sit still easily.
